Benjamin Mandell

Benjamin Mandell is an actor based in New York City.

 

Benjamin earned his BA in theater from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York.  Immediately after graduating, he appeared in the NYC premier of Matias Umpierrez’s LONEtheater.  He played the role of Christopher Lawrence Harper, and assisted in translating the script from Spanish to English. Ben completed his MFA with a concentration in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University in May of 2018.  At ASDS, Ben studied acting under Susan Aston, Corinne Chateau, and Elizabeth Kemp.  Post-graduation, Ben began waiting tables at Tavern on the Green while pursuing acting work. Through the invitation of a colleague from graduate school, Ben had the opportunity to play the Narrator in A Christmas Story in December 2019 at Breckenridge Backstage Theatre in Breckenridge, CO. He was fortunate enough to be invited back in January of 2020 to play Tom Buchanan in BBT’s production of The Great Gatsby.
